We derive a theory-independent version of the momentum constraint equation for use in cosmology, as part Parameterised Post-Newtonian Cosmology (PPNC) framework. Our equations are constructed by adapting corresponding quantities from formalisms devised testing and constraining gravity isolated astrophysical systems, thereby extending domain applicability these approaches up to cosmological scales. parameterised include both scalar divergenceless-vector gravitational potentials, can be applied conservative non-conservative theories gravity. They also used describe fields non-linear structures super-horizon perturbations. apply we propose quintessence models dark energy, well scalar-tensor vector-tensor find them work each case. highly compact, intended useful fashion cosmology.
